Repeat customers

When nothing else credits an order, ThanksTo can credit the creator of the same customer’s last order that had a creator, if it was placed within 30 days. The setting is off until you turn it on.

All of these have to be true:

  • Nothing else credits the new order. If ThanksTo saw a Direct visit, the order can’t get this credit.
  • The new order has a customer linked to it. Guest orders can’t get this credit.
  • The earlier order was placed within the 30 days before the new order.
  • The earlier order is paid, and not cancelled or refunded in full.
  • The earlier order got its creator from a link, Shopify data or a linked discount code. A creator named in the survey doesn’t count, and neither does an earlier repeat customer credit.

The order then shows the Repeat customer status.

  1. Open Settings and go to the Repeat customers card.

Repeat customers card in Settings with the Credit repeat customers to their creator checkbox

  2. Tick or untick Credit repeat customers to their creator. The change saves right away.

These orders count in the creator’s numbers on Creators. If you pay creators from these numbers, decide this before you turn it on.
